I haven't seen a lot of Watamote, but from what I remember I can see Tomoko being annoyed that the kidnapper used tape.
"Oh no. I'm stuck. I can't get home or call for help...the tape is really tight but...if the kidnapper used rope he probably would have had to touch me more...hmm...maybe he'll use rope later?"
